In Honour of My Parents and Their Love for Children
My parents always valued our childhood and youth. They worked tirelessly to give us strength, stability, and values so we could grow into contributing members of our community.
In honour of my parents, Anila Mir and Imran Butt, I want to give back in a way that reflects what they stood for. This fundraiser is dedicated to helping children receive the care, hope, and opportunities they deserve — to love, live, and laugh.
This cause is deeply personal to me. As a child, I was once admitted to SickKids myself. The care I received left a lasting impact, and today I want to support the same hospital that supports so many families during their most difficult moments.
Through this fundraiser, my goal is to raise $25,000 to support SickKids and place a commemorative plaque in my parents’ names as an ongoing act of charity. I hope this becomes a lasting legacy of compassion, healing, and generosity.
