I'm Fundraising in Support of SickKids!
Our daughter Kira was born with a rare genetic disorder, and throughout her journey, SickKids has been our family’s constant source of hope, guidance & care. Inspired by Kira and everything SickKids has done for our family, we created KIRA KARES as a way to give back to the hospital that continues to make such a difference in her life and the lives of so many children.
On October 18, 2026, we’ll be hosting our very first KIRA KARES Charity Event at Rotary Place in Bolton from 2:00–5:00 PM!
This will be a family-friendly afternoon filled with food, music, kids’ activities, sensory stations, a silent auction, 50/50 draw & more - all while coming together for an incredibly important cause. 100% of proceeds from KIRA KARES will be donated directly to SickKids.
I’m fundraising for SickKids to help them:
DIAGNOSE FASTER — For worried families, this means getting a quicker answer to “What’s wrong?”
TREAT SMARTER — Treating underlying causes, not just symptoms, and reducing side effects and relapses so kids get better, sooner.
PREDICT BETTER — Seeing illness coming more clearly, while there’s still time to prevent it or reduce its severity.
Every donation, every person who attends & every bit of support helps us give back to the hospital that has given our family so much hope.
