I'm running for Remy and the SickKids foundation
Hello everyone,
I've decided to take up running this year, and I've decided to do it for a cause that is dear to my heart..
My friend Alex since grade 2 at St-Lambert Elementary, and his wife Peggy have a 5 month old son named Remy who is currently receiving care at the SickKids Hospital in Toronto. Remy was born prematurely and has been facing ongoing complications with his liver. Over the past months, SickKids has been there for Remy and his family through countless ups and downs and procedures, providing not only exceptional medical care but also unwavering support during an incredibly challenging time.
This April, I’ll be running a 10km race with Le 21K de Montréal. Every step I take is dedicated to Remy and to the incredible team at SickKids who help families like his when they need it most.
I’m hoping to raise funds for SickKids Hospital to support the life-changing work they do every single day. Any donation—big or small—means so much and helps ensure that children like Remy continue to receive the care they deserve.
