It's my birthday and I want to raise $$ for SickKids!!!
Thursday 30th JulHi! My name is Carmen, and I'm turning 13 this year. For my birthday, my sister and I are raising money for SickKids Hospital.
The money raised will help the hospital in many ways, like buying new medical equipment, hiring more doctors and nurses, expanding the hospital, and supporting research. This will help even more kids get the care they need.
This fundraiser is really important to me because my sister had cancer. She spent a lot of time at SickKids, and my family was there with her. The doctors and nurses took amazing care of her. They not only treated her cancer but also entertained her with fun activities each visit.
Now I want to give back by helping raise money so SickKids can continue helping other children and families just like mine.
