108 Sun Salutations. Two Wheels. One Mission. ☀️🏍️

Friday 10th Jul

I’m stepping onto my mat for a special fundraiser supporting Ride4SickKids, moving through 108 Sun Salutations. In yoga philosophy, 108 represents wholeness, but more importantly, this challenge is about Seva, selfless service. It’s our community taking mindfulness off the mat and turning collective energy into real-world support for the amazing kids and families at SickKids. 🙏💛

People often ask how my love for yoga connects to my passion for motorcycle riding. For me, they are two sides of the same coin.

On the open road, I find my ultimate "Zen." Riding demands Dharana (absolute concentration) and presence. You can’t dwell on the past or worry about the future when you’re leaning into a turn; you have to be 100% in the moment. The rumble of the engine becomes a mantra, the road requires total focus, and the ride itself becomes an active meditation.

Whether I’m finding stillness on the mat or finding peace on two wheels, it’s all connected. It’s all yoga. Thank you so much to everyone supporting this journey and Ride4SickKids! ✨
