Emilia’s Piggy Bank for Cancer Families is Back for a Fifth Year!
Can you believe it? Five incredible years of generosity, community, and love. To everyone who has donated, shared, and supported us through Emilia’s journey, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
This milestone year, we’re dreaming big: five years, $5,000.
As many of you know, Emilia has been bravely fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for five years. Our very first Christmas as a family was spent in the Oncology ward at SickKids. The world outside was full of lights, laughter, and celebration, but inside those hospital walls, time felt different. The holidays can be especially hard when your child is sick, when you’re running on empty, and when “home for the holidays” means a hospital room.
That experience changed us forever. We remember how small acts of kindness—gift cards, warm meals, a simple reminder that we weren’t alone—made all the difference. That’s why we started Emilia’s Piggy Bank: to bring comfort and a touch of joy to families walking that same difficult road.
This year, we want to spread even more love and light. Every dollar you give goes directly toward helping oncology families at SickKids; families who need to know that even in the hardest moments, they’re not forgotten.
