In November 2024, we faced the unimaginable loss of our beloved son, Tyler.

Christmas was his favourite time of year — a season of joy, laughter, and connection that he embraced with all his heart.

Tyler had a way of lighting up every room he walked into. His smile was contagious, his kindness effortless, and his gentle spirit drew people in. He found joy in the little things and made everyone around him feel seen, included, and loved.

To honour that beautiful light, we’ve turned our yard into Tyler’s Wonderland — a place overflowing with colour, laughter, and the magic of the holidays… just the way he would have loved it and at the heart of it all, a tribute to Tyler: the Loeys-Dietz logo illuminated with 60 ft. of LED lights. This display is our way of keeping Tyler’s spirit alive while raising awareness about Loeys-Dietz syndrome and supporting The Hospital for Sick Children, who cared for him with extraordinary dedication and love.  But this isn’t only a display of lights and inflatables — it’s a reflection of Tyler’s heart, and a way to give back to a place that gave so much to us: SickKids Hospital.
