JORDANA’S RAINBOWS HOLIDAY GIFT CARD DRIVE 2025
The Story:
Jordana Fiorini’s giving spirit lives on with the 9th annual Jordana’s Rainbows Holiday Gift Card Drive for SickKids!
When Jordana Fiorini spent her last Christmas at SickKids Hospital, she told her parents that she wanted to return the following year to bring gifts for the patients, so that they would never feel alone or forgotten. That same day, her family received an envelope with a gift card and a note written by a family who had spent their holidays at SickKids years before. It read “Merry Christmas - you are never alone.” The idea of our Holiday Gift Card Drive was born from Jordana’s wish and that random act of kindness.
In her honour, we have fulfilled Jordana’s wish for the last seven years by donating over $189,000 in gift cards to the children and families spending the holidays at SickKids Hospital.
From now until December 22nd, you can make a gift card donation for a SickKids family, and it will be distributed by SickKids staff on behalf of the Jordana’s Rainbows Foundation.
Donations made through this site will support the purchase of gift cards on your behalf, with a focus on businesses located within the hospital and the specific needs of the children and their families. Tax receipts will be issued for all online donations.
How it works:
From now to December 22nd you can purchase a Gift Card Donation in any dollar amount you choose here. Tax receipts will be issued for all online donations.
Funds collected from these gift card donations will be used to purchase hundreds of gift cards for kids of every age spending their holidays at SickKids Hospital.
The gift cards will be hand-delivered to kids and families just in time for the holidays!
Why The Gift Card?
Your donation of gift cards will help families admitted to the hospital over the holidays that are in need of additional support. Being in the hospital over the holidays can be challenging. Some families are struggling to make ends meet and some are in need of necessities like clothing, groceries and gas for transportation. Gift cards will assist in relieving that stress and worry for these families and will empower caregivers to purchase what their family needs. Gift cards not only allow us to support the patients and their families at SickKids but also helps to spread some holiday cheer!

Over the years many members of our community have gotten together with their friends and families and shared the message of the HGCD. These meaningful contributions are the reason we’ve been able to directly support hundreds of kids and families with a small gift for the holidays.
The donor’s name, donation amount, email and address will be visible to the Foundation and the fundraiser/organizer who created the webpage. The donor may remain anonymous by checking the appropriate box at the time they donate.
