Chris and Farah met in 2010 and married in 2013 and welcomed their son Grayson in 2015.
In 2018, in celebration of their five-year wedding anniversary, the Boddys planned a holiday to Mexico. Reluctant to leave Grayson behind, he joined them. The trip was perfect in every way but what occurred on their return was something that they could have never imagined.
Upon their return, Grayson, who was just 2.5 years old, started to experience severe vomiting and diarrhea because he had contracted E-coli. Grayson was hospitalized while his kidneys regained function. He received treatment in the form of dialysis and blood transfusions and life as they knew it had changed.
In 2019, the Boddys established GRAYSON'S GRATITUDE to raise awareness and encourage appreciation for the life that we have and raise funds for renal priorities at SickKids. Several years later, Grayson is a thriving, charismatic and energetic boy and what started as an effort to raise awareness for renal priorities has turned in to a thriving community that has raised over 150K!
