Swim, Bike, Run for Kaan

I'm Fundraising in Support of SickKids!

Hi Everyone,

My name is Zaur, and I want to share something close to my heart.

Since birth, my son Kaan has been under the care of the SickKids Neurology team. Raising a child with complex medical needs is one of the most humbling and challenging journeys a parent can face — but through every difficult moment, we never felt alone. The doctors, nurses, and staff at SickKids showed up for our family with skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication.

This year, I've decided it's time to give back.

On June 21st, I will be competing in my very first Ironman 70.3 Triathlon in Mont-Tremblant — 2 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, and 21 km of running. Every stroke, every pedal, and every step will be dedicated to Kaan and countless little angels who rely on SickKids .

I'm fundraising for SickKids because they are so much more than a hospital. They are:

🔬 Researchers — uncovering the underlying causes of childhood illness so future generations have better answers

🚨 First responders — providing rapid, expert emergency care when every second counts

📚 Educators — empowering communities with the knowledge to understand, advocate for, and protect our children

Our kids are our greatest wealth and our most important future. SickKids fights for them every single day — and now I want to fight for SickKids.

No contribution is too small. Every dollar brings a family like mine one step closer to hope, answers, and a better tomorrow.
