We're Fundraising in Support of SickKids!
Hi! We’re Shiloh and Willow Liu, ages 12 and 8, and although we may be young, we’re already experienced fundraisers! As sisters, we have been fundraising for SickKids for many years because we believe that kids can make a difference too.
We’ve had the opportunity to visit SickKids and see the hospital ourselves, which made supporting SickKids even more meaningful to us. We want to help the hospital so that its doctors, nurses, researchers and care teams can continue helping more children and families.
This year, we’re proud to support SickKids and its vision to Heal the Future. SickKids is working to transform children’s health through Precision Child Health, with the goal of diagnosing children faster, treating them more precisely, and finding better ways to predict and prevent illness.
We also love finding creative ways to fundraise! During our community fundraising, we offer Golden Pothos as a special thank-you to generous supporters. Something small that we grew together can help us grow something much bigger—hope for children who need it.

Once again today, I saw Shiloh Liu and Willow Liu fundraising for SickKids. For several consecutive years now, toward the end of summer, I've seen these two sisters out on Main Street Markham raising money for SickKids. Shiloh Liu: This afternoon was great! We raised over $150, and Willow did an awesome job. I’m very proud of her. As the team leader, when someone donated more than $5.00, I gave them a free Golden Pothos, which has been cultivated by me and Willow many weeks ago as an appreciation gift. These free plants help us receive more donations. Our total amount raised today is $169.75. Willow Liu: Today’s fundraising was good. I raised more than $150 with my sister’s help. She helped me with all of this. BEST SISTER EVER!!! I hope we can hit our goal even earlier than planned!
