I've created this page in memory of a loved one.
Please help us support SickKids Foundation in memory of Ella.
Ella spent a LOT of time at SickKids. So many appointments through the years, so many admissions, so many ambulance trips. SickKids was always a place of comfort for her, a place to convalesce, and to have fun while doing so.
This fundraiser is to give back to the two (non-medical) parts of SickKids that had the greatest impact on Ella: Therapeutic Arts and Child Life.
Therapeautic Arts includes Art Therapy, Music Therapy and the Clowns (among other parts that were much less interesting to Ella). These people formed very deep connections with Ella, and an integral part of her weekly routine when she was an inpatient.
Child Life includes all of the volunteers who visited Ella, and who played and sang with her. It includes the specialists, who got to know Ella for over a decade, and watched her grow up. It includes The Skoop, the SickKids television network, whose thrice-daily programming was Not To Be Missed.
