Niall's 6th Wish!
Dear Family & Friends,
This
year, as we celebrate Niall turning 6, we’re also marking a milestone that
means more to us than words can express—one year since the hospital stay that
changed our lives forever.
Over the past year, we’ve soaked in every moment that has made us feel whole
again. We’ve celebrated the ordinary days that once felt impossible, while also
learning to navigate the tough emotions and lasting trauma that can follow such
a life-changing experience.
Today,
Niall is a happy, thriving 6-year-old who continues to amaze us every day. He
loves playing basketball, building with LEGO, being a big bro, anything
superheroes and villains, watching movies, spending hours at the park, riding
his bike, going to restaurants, exploring nature/animals, and making memories with his family and
friends. Watching him reach milestone after milestone is a gift we’ll never
take for granted.
Every
birthday is a reminder of just how fortunate we are. That’s why, each year, we
choose to honour Niall by giving back to SickKids—the incredible place that
gives families hope each day.
