AVM and Paediatric Stroke Awareness - Golf Tournament

I'm Fundraising in Support of SickKids!

SickKids saved my life. Last May, when I suffered a ruptured AVM, it caused a massive brain bleed and a hemorrhagic stroke. It happened without warning, and in an instant, everything changed. I was rushed to SickKids, where a team of world-class doctors and nurses to save me. Over the course of my journey, I went through multiple brain surgeries — each one critical to keeping me alive and giving me the chance to recover.

After surviving the initial trauma, I faced a long road of intensive therapy to relearn how to walk, talk, eat, and move again. The stroke left the left side of my body paralyzed, and I had to rebuild everything from the ground up. But with every step, SickKids was there — not just treating me, but truly caring for me and fighting alongside my family.

Today, I’m alive, healing, and determined — and it’s because of SickKids.
