I'm Fundraising in Support of SickKids!
Hi everyone,
On Saturday, October 10 at 10:30 AM, I'm running the 5K for Emilia at Riverside Park in Guelph, and I'd love your support.
Emilia Piper was born with a rare genetic condition and a long list of health challenges, including heart defects. She needed surgery when she was just four days old, followed by many more hospital stays. Through all of it, she was cared for by the incredible doctors, nurses, therapists, and social workers at SickKids. Between hospital visits, she loved blueberries, walks, ice cream, dancing, and Moana. Emilia passed away at 16 months old, and her parents, Claudia and Bryan, organize this run to honour her and to support the team that became part of their family.
All funds raised go directly to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at SickKids, helping give other kids and families the same level of care Emilia received.
Hearing Emilia's story from Claudia and Bryan really broke my heart.
My goal is to raise $1,000. Any donation, big or small, makes a difference, and sharing this page helps too. You're also welcome to come out and join the run or walk.
