All For Love
When I was 10, I slipped on ice and broke my wrist. Every single second of my recovery, my mom stayed by my side. Seeing her so distraught made me realize just how much I meant to her. After that I made a promise to myself, to make sure I will never see her that way again. While a broken wrist is vastly different from a life-threatening disease, the core truth is the exact same: parents suffer, and children suffer.
SickKids is working to end this suffering. With 12 major medical breakthroughs already under their belt, they are winning the war on illness. Every donation, no matter how small, fuels this fight. Please help us give these children a chance to smile, heal, and simply be kids again.

My First Fundraising Experience
Monday 24th Aug
On August 21st and 22nd, I had the opportunity to spread awareness about the SickKids foundation at the annual DevOps Hackathon in Ottawa.
For those who don't know, the Hackathon is an AI driven competition where many brilliant people collaborate over 24 hours to come out with working software that solves a certain problem, like AI hallucinations, cybersecurity, or secure software deployment.
With the help of the organizers, I was able to pitch the audience about donating to SickKids. I am proud to say that the attendees donated over $250, which is over 25% of my goal.
