In Memory of Beverly Goldbloom

By Mark Goldbloom

I've created this page in memory of Beverly Goldbloom

We are very saddened to announce Beverly's passing on August 15, 2025 after a courageous battle against cancer.

Beloved wife and best friend of Sam goldbloom for 64 years. Loving mother of Mark Goldbloom and the late Mitchell Goldbloom and mother-in-law to Jennifer Pilkington and Dana Soroka. Dear sister of Gary Vinegar, the late Laura Stock and the late Alec Vinegar. Cherished Bubby to her grandchildren Talia, Jordan and Joseph. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Beverly was an elementary school teacher for many years and then for 20 years thereafter, taught English as a second language to recent immigrants, thereby improving the lives of thousands of people.

Upon retirement, she and her husband Sam, traveled extensively, usually by cruising. She was an avid bridge player with a wide selection of friends. She was an avid supporter of Israel and Israeli causes.

Her sense of humor and beautiful smile lit up a room. She was always gracious, generous and kind. Her primary love was for her immediate and extended family. She never forgot to acknowledge a birthday anniversary or special occasions.

With your donations, you are helping The Hospital For Sick Children to conduct cancer research and fulfill its mission of Healthier children. A Better World."

Thank you for your support.

Bev was a dear friend whom I met at our book club. We shared common views and interests. How lovely and brave she was. I shall miss her very much. She was a ray of sunshine no matter how gray her own world must have felt to her at times. Baruch Dayan Ha’emet.
