At The Lemon Project, our mission has always been about turning challenges into opportunities to make a difference.

Our inspiration is our daughter, Zoe, who was born with an incredibly rare genetic disorder, SLC35A2-CDG. Throughout her eight years of life, Zoe has faced more medical challenges than most people will experience in a lifetime. From countless hospital admissions and appointments to surgeries, procedures, and ongoing treatments, SickKids has been a huge part of her journey.

There were moments when we didn't know what Zoe's future would look like, and milestones we weren't sure we would ever get to celebrate. Thanks to the incredible medical teams at SickKids, we have been given something truly priceless: more time, more memories, and more opportunities to watch Zoe grow and thrive.

We know firsthand how important specialized pediatric care, medical research, and continued advancements in treatment are, especially for children living with rare and complex medical conditions.

Through The Lemon Project, we are raising funds and awareness to give back to the hospital that has given our family so much. Our hope is that by sharing Zoe's story, we can shine a light on rare diseases, the challenges families face, and the incredible impact that donations can have on the lives of children and their families.

SickKids has been there for Zoe every step of the way. Now it's our turn to give back.
