In celebration of the launch of our children’s book, Strong Like Leo: A Story About Cancer and Courage, we are raising funds for the Oncology Unit at SickKids to help them:
DIAGNOSE FASTER
For worried families, this means getting a quicker answer to "What's wrong?"
TREAT SMARTER
Treating underlying causes, not just symptoms, and reducing side effects & relapses – so kids get better, sooner
PREDICT BETTER
See illness coming more clearly – while there’s still time to prevent it or reduce its severity

Celebrate Strong Like Leo: A Book Launch & Fundraiser
Wednesday 7th Oct
Join author Andie Blankenstein and illustrator Daryl Blankenstein for a special family-friendly morning at Nuts and Shells Bookshop, celebrating Strong Like Leo, their new picture book about courage, friendship, and a little lion cub facing cancer.
Together, we're raising funds in support of SickKids and helping put copies of Strong Like Leo into the hands of children facing cancer.

Enjoy a special reading of Strong Like Leo, a book signing, light breakfast bites and drinks, and a silent auction in support of SickKids.
You'll also have the opportunity to purchase a copy for yourself or buy a book to donate to a child facing cancer, helping share Leo's story of courage with those who need it most.
Can't make it? You can still support our fundraiser by making a donation or purchasing a copy of the book to donate.
