I'm Fundraising in Support of SickKids!
What inspired me to support SickKids is my daughter, Kylianna. She has spent a lot of time at SickKids, and we’ve personally experienced the incredible care, compassion, and support they provide to children and their families.
I’m raising funds to give back to SickKids and support other kids and families who are going through their own difficult journeys. Every donation, big or small, can make a difference and help provide the care, resources, and support that children and their families need.
I’m fundraising for SickKids to help them:
DIAGNOSE FASTER
For worried families, this means getting a quicker answer to "What's wrong?"
TREAT SMARTER
Treating underlying causes, not just symptoms, and reducing side effects & relapses – so kids get better, sooner
PREDICT BETTER
See illness coming more clearly – while there’s still time to prevent it or reduce its severity

Kylianna’s Journey, Our Reason
Thursday 10th SepKylianna is a brave 7 year old, who was born with Chronic Intestinal Pseudo Obstruction (CIPO), a rare condition where her intestines have difficulty moving food and fluids through her digestive system, even though there is no physical blockage.
Because of CIPO, Kylianna has faced countless hospital visits, procedures and treatments and relies on specialized medical care and nutrition. Recently, she started a new medication to help improve the movement of her intestines. We are hopeful that her body will respond well and that, little by little, she’ll be able to tolerate more on her own.
Sickkids has been a huge part of Kylianna’s journey. Especially her incredible GIFT (Group for Improvement of Intestinal Function and Treatment) Team. They’ve supported Kylianna throughout her journey helping us navigate her condition and improve her quality of life. We’re incredibly grateful for their continued care and support.
On September 12, I’ll be taking on the Tough Mudder with my coworkers, #TeamRoofRunners, to give back to SickKids and the team that has done so much for our family. ❤️
